The Valley of Gwangi (1969)

Arguably the most famous of the dinosaurs, ever, is Tyrannosaurus rex. But did Ray Harryhausen ever animate a T. rex? Maybe. Sort of. The lead dinosaur character in The Valley of Gwangi, was the theropod dinosaur Gwangi. But what was Gwangi? An Allosaurus, or a Tyrannosaurus rex?
