I hadn't seen Martin Barre play live since my last Jethro Tull gig, at the Queen's Hall, Edinburgh, back in 2008. Backstage At The Green Hotel is an intimate wee venue, and it was great to see and hear Martin Barre and the Martin Barre Band absolutely rock it. They delivered a selection of Jethro Tull classics, and Martin Barre solo tracks, with massive enthusiasm, and no shortage of prowess. With Aqualung played in full. A magical evening of Jethro Tull music with energy and anger - a storming gig.
