To Flower - Wee Reekie in waiting - Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

One of the common names for Amorphophallus konjac (alongside devil's tongue) is snake palm, so-called because the spotted patterning on the stem resembles a snake. This photo is of the 2nd specimen of Wee Reekie on show in the Lowland (Wet) Tropics Glasshouse at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, which was yet to flower.
