Inverlochy Castle

Inverlochy is an impressive, thick-walled old (13th Century) castle, nestling amongst ancient trees alongside the river. A beautiful castle captured on a bright spring day. The dominant feature is the round towers at the corners of the square courtyard. Originally the home of the Comyn family, the dominant tower of the castle is known as Comyn's Tower. Passed to the Gordon Earls of Huntly in 1505.
